Coin Deposit Locks
Customers mostly order coin deposit locks for cabinet systems and lockers installed in publicly accessible places.
Coin deposit locks are available in two basic variants:
- The basic version of the coin lock is supplied in a fixed design version set for one nominal value and type of coin.
- The higher range of the twin-coin lock allows the use of two different coins.

BURG coin lock
The basic version of the coin lock of the German lock manufacturer BURG is distinguished above all by a favourable price-quality ratio. The locks are designed for one coin denomination, and have factory settings to it. Versions for 1 EUR and 10 CZK coins are normally available in stock at the manufacturer’s plant. For coins of other denominations and currencies, locks are ordered directly for a specific project.
In these cases, the minimum order quantity is 20 pieces.
Function description
In vacant lockers, the key is fixed in the lock and the door is unlocked. The user puts his/her belongings in the locker, inserts a coin of the nominal value and currency indicated on the label into the slot located at the top of the lock, then locks the locker. After unlocking the locker, the key is fixed in the lock and the coin falls into the coin box on the inside of the lock, from where the user can remove it.
SAFE-O-MAT® twin-coin locks for two coins
The coin lock of the German lock manufacturer SAG is distinguished by precise design and high reliability. The lock has two slots, and the customer can choose from two denominations of coins, or it is possible to use coins of two currencies, which is advantageous especially in the border areas or in tourist-exposed places.
Locks are always ordered directly from the manufacturer by a specific order, and the minimum quantity is 20 pieces.
