In January, the first meeting took place at the NRZP headquarters in Prague. Nicole Fryčová, a lawyer with the council, represented them. She has years of experience in accessibility issues and the rights of persons with disabilities.
The discussion proved highly valuable for all involved. It went beyond legal frameworks to focus on the real-world challenges of technical solutions in everyday use. The talks made it clear: true accessibility isn't just about ticking off standards; it starts with users' actual needs.
Meeting in Prague: Open Dialogue and Sharing Insights

Manufacturer’s Role and Duty for Public Space
As a Czech manufacturer of parcel lockers and a key market player, we're fully aware of our shared responsibility for public spaces. While operators decide on locations, we see it as essential to shape best practices actively, both in product development and through advice to our partners.

A key topic was gathering direct user feedback, including from users with various disabilities, and integrating it systematically into our development process.
The conversation particularly highlighted practical aspects of accessibility for ICT devices and services. Real-world experience shows that merely meeting formal requirements isn't enough. Solutions must work reliably and be truly usable in daily operations.

A Partnership with Real Value
The meeting with the National Council of Persons with Disabilities underscored one thing: open collaboration between manufacturers and user advocates is key to genuine accessibility. The exchange benefited both sides, and we're looking forward to continuing it.
For us, accessibility isn't a one-off checkbox. It's a long-term commitment we're driving forward steadily.
