Parcel+Post Expo 2026 in London: A Look Back

Parcel+Post Expo is one of the leading international exhibitions for postal, parcel and last-mile logistics. This year’s edition took place in London at the end of September, and once again, we were there.

Two intensive days, and the best part of them: meeting people from the industry face to face, showing our solutions to an international audience and talking about where the European parcel locker and out-of-home delivery market is heading.

At Stand E42, we welcomed logistics operators, carriers, technology companies and plenty of other industry professionals. Those conversations brought new contacts, useful insights and a handful of concrete topics we’ll be taking further now the show is over.

The new generation of alfaBOX in one place

We came to London with the new generation of our alfaBOX locker solutions. The thinking behind the range hasn’t changed: there simply isn’t one universal parcel locker that suits every location and every use case.

That’s why we build around modularity, adapting hardware, electronics and software to what a project actually needs. London was a good place to show it: solutions for high-volume locations, for sites with limited infrastructure, and for installations where energy independence and straightforward operation matter most.

And the conversations on the stand confirmed it again, just how differently individual European markets, operators and projects define their requirements.

Personal connections are the most valuable part of Parcel+Post Expo for us.
At our stand E42, we welcomed visitors from across Europe and beyond.
An opportunity to showcase the new generation of alfaBOX solutions directly to industry professionals.
Inspiring conversations about the future of parcel logistics and delivery.
Every meeting brings fresh perspectives on the needs and challenges of the European parcel locker market.
Parcel+Post Expo 2026 – where new connections are made and opportunities for collaboration begin.
Discussions with industry experts about the potential applications of our modular locker solutions.
Two exhibition days filled with engaging conversations, shared experiences and fresh insights.
Thank you to everyone who visited us in London. We look forward to continuing our conversations!

alfaBOX Drop makes its international debut

The biggest new arrival at our stand was alfaBOX Drop, our self-service solution for parcel drop-off and returns.

It lets users drop off a parcel securely around the clock, with no waiting for staff or a courier. Think e-commerce returns, handing parcels over to carriers, or internal company logistics.

Parcel+Post Expo 2026 created opportunities to connect, find inspiration and share experiences.
New technologies, fresh perspectives and a shared interest in the future of parcel logistics.
At the exhibition, we showcased our innovations and discussed their real-world applications.
An international exhibition is an ideal opportunity to explore current market trends and evolving needs.
We leave London with fresh insights, valuable experiences and inspiration for future development.

London was the ideal place to show it to exactly the right people: those who run parcel locker networks, those developing them, and those still planning their first.

International Locker Association: from launch to the first joint meeting

The newly established International Locker Association (ILA) was also introduced to the wider industry at the show. ALFA 3 is one of the founding members.

It didn’t stop at the introduction, though. Alongside the exhibition, there was an informal morning coffee meeting with representatives from the management teams of the member companies. It made room for proper conversations, shared experience and the topics currently occupying everyone across the locker market.

What sits behind the ILA, why it was founded, what it aims to do and how we’re involved: there’s a separate piece on that coming soon.

ALFA 3 also takes the Last Mile Hub stage

We weren’t only in London with our products. We also took part in the expert programme on the Last Mile Hub stage, where Alena Castellon represented us in a panel discussion.

As part of the LockerTalks series, she presented our contribution, “Compartment Turnover: The Only Metric That Decides Who Survives”. It touches a sore point for a lot of locker networks: how do you actually use the capacity you’ve already got, and what does compartment turnover mean for the economics of running a network?

So for us, London didn’t end when the hall doors closed. Quite the opposite: plenty of those conversations are only just getting started.

Thank you for Parcel+Post Expo 2026. We look forward to meeting again.
