The Next Step in Automation
The two new arrivals didn't come out of nowhere. They're part of our long-term strategy to modernise the plant bit by bit and keep pushing automation forward. And they help on two fronts at once: with our own alfaBOX products and with contract manufacturing of sheet metal parts for industrial customers.
The more that runs automatically, the better we can use our capacity, the more consistent the quality stays, and the quicker we can react when a customer needs something out of the ordinary.
More Output from Punching and Bending
At the heart of the new line sits the TruPunch 5000, joined by the SheetMaster loading and unloading system, the ToolMaster tool changer and a few other automation components.
The whole thing runs continuously, with minimal operator input and a repeat accuracy that speaks for itself. The machine handles a broad range of sheet metal parts and takes care of every step itself, from feeding in the material to sorting the finished parts.
Just as important, even if you can't see it: the machine is linked to our digital production control system, connected to our company systems and can be managed remotely.

High-Precision Robotic Bending
Number two is the TruBend Cell 7000 bending cell, fitted with the BendMaster and LoadMaster handling systems.
It bends sheet metal parts precisely and repeatably, even when large batches are on the schedule. The robot picks up the workpieces itself, controls the process and switches swiftly from one job to the next.
For us, that means consistently high quality, noticeably higher productivity and plenty of room to handle bigger volumes and more unusual customer requests.

More Capacity for Our PSBB Robotic Lines
Together, the two machines give the capacity of our PSBB robotic lines a real boost. We now cover even more of the process automatically, from raw material to the finished formed component, and we've got room to grow over the coming years.
The investment is also an answer to what the market is asking for. Complex metal products remain in demand, and our customers rightly expect consistent quality, flexibility and delivery dates they can count on.
And We're Not Stopping There
Automation is one of the central pillars of our investment strategy. The TruPunch 5000 and TruBend Cell 7000 are therefore not a one-off project, but part of a wider modernisation programme.
The next investments are already in the pipeline: more production capacity, digitalised processes and further expansion of automated manufacturing. The goal behind it is simple: keep ALFA 3 competitive in the long run and lay the groundwork for further growth, in the Czech Republic and internationally alike.

Martin Pritula (Chairman of the Board):
"The new machines significantly expand what we're able to manufacture. We can increase the capacity of our automated production, shorten lead times and further develop unattended production. At the same time, they create room for the next steps in automation at ALFA 3. Over the coming years, we'll carry on modernising our plant."
